WHAT IS GYROTONIC® METHOD?
GYROTONIC® method, using a very unique wooden pully tower and a bench, cultivates functional capacity of our spine, adjusts our body alignments, strengthens our inner muscles with minimal effort, increases the range of motion in every joint , and develops a perfect coordination of body as a whole.
Juliu Horvath designed specialized equipments following various movement patterns of human body. They are highly adjustable and to fit every unique human body and his or her ablity. Through rotating movement patterns of the joints, a well-balanced support system for the skeleton is naturally created.
Sequences are composed of spiraling and circular movements which flow together in rhythmic repetitions with corresponding breathing patterns. Each movement flows into the next, allowing the joints to move through a natural range of motion without jarring or compression. By increasing functional capacity of the spine, you would find yourself being superior with well-proportioned body, and increased vitality and vigor.

WHAT IS GYROKINESIS® METHOD?
GYROKINESIS® method uses yoga mat and a chair. It begins on a chair with a gentle warm up sequence to awaken the senses, and stimulates the nerve system. This is followed by a series of fluid spinal motions which is to prepare the body to explore more complex movements with agility and ease.
Session continues on the floor with exercises that expand on the spinal motions, gradually adding more complex sequences, incorporating more with hips, shoulders, hands and feet. The floor exercises are followed by a rhythmic standing sequence that incoorporates balance and cardiovascular system. Session ends with a calming and unwinding sequence designed to prepare the body & mind to reintegrate with the everyday life after exercise.
It gently works the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nerve system, increasing range of motion, and creating functional strength through rhythmic and flowing movements. It has benefits & qualities similar to those found in Yoga, Tai Chi, swimming and Ballet.
